Kindly note that due to a recent mandatory checkout update, we are no longer able to offer the option to stack reward points with a discount or promo code.  Our sincerest apologies as we do wish that option was still possible.  You will, of course, still accrue loyalTEA points on each order and can utilize those reward points at any time.  Happy steeping!

Q: How do I join the loyaTEA program?

A: Head to our LoyalTEA Page to join for free! Simply create an account or log in using your existing customer account. You've begin earning points on every single purchase made at starting 3/30/21 onwards, so there's a chance you are already eligible for money off at Art of Tea and don't even know it yet!

Q: How many point do I earn on each purchase? 

A: You will earn 1 point for every $1 spent at Please note that this excludes purchases made using gift cards.

Q: Are there any exclusions?

A:  Points cannot be earned on Tea of the Month Subscriptions or Gift Card purchases unless explicitly stated in an email, SMS, or other promotion. Additionally, LoyalTEA rewards do not apply to any Wholesale purchases. 

Q: Are there other ways to earn points?

A: Once you make a LoyalTEA Account, you will begin earning points on every purchase. Additionally, you can earn 5 points for sharing Art of Tea on Facebook, 5 for following Art of Tea on Instagram, and 50 points on your birthday. Please note that in order to receive birthday points, you will need to input the date on the Rewards page.  

Q: Do my points expire?

A: Unused points will expire 1 year after they are accrued.

Q: Does the year start on January 1st or is it a rolling calendar? 

A: 1 year begins on the date that you make your purchase. For example, points earned on 4/1/2021 would expire on 4/1/2022.

Q: Can I get retroactive points for purchases made before the loyalTEA program was launched? 

A: Retroactive points cannot be added to your LoyalTEA Account. You will only earn points on purchases made once you have created an account and the LoyalTEA Program is live. Points can begin being accrued starting 3/30/21 onwards. The sooner you make an account, the sooner you’ll reap the benefits!

Q: How does the V.I.Tea club work? 

A: Once you spend over $400 or complete 4 successful referrals annually, you will move up in the V.I.TEA Club to become a Silver Member, whereby you will earn 1.25 points for every $1 spent. Once you’ve spent over $750 or completed 6 successful referrals annually, you’ll become a Gold Member that earns 1.5 points on every $1 spent at Art of Tea. And once you have spent over $1000 or successfully referred 10 friends annually, you will be a Platinum member who earns 2 points for every $1 spent.

Q: How do I use my points? 

A: Once you have earned enough points to redeem a reward, you can exchange them for a coupon. Coupons are available on the rewards page once you are logged in to your LoyalTEA account. When you have earned enough points to be eligible for a reward, simply ensure that you are logged into your account and you will be able to apply your points for money off at checkout.

You can exchange 100 points for a $5 coupon, 200 points for a $10 coupon, and 300 points for a $15 coupon. Coupons are redeemable only at when there is a minimum of $20 worth of product in your cart. Please note that you will have to refresh the page once you "apply" your points for the discount to be reflected in your cart.

You are also able to exchange your points for amazing Art of Tea products. You can exchange 100 points for a Perfect Tea Spoon, 200 points for a box of our signature biodegradable filter bags, and 300 points for a classic green teacup. Simply sign in to your LoyalTEA account, scroll down and see which product you’d like to redeem, hit “redeem” and then “yes, add it,” and voila! The product you selected and exchanged your LoyalTEA points for will show up in your cart at no cost to you.

Q: Are there other perks aside from earning points and moving up in the V.I.Tea club in the loyalTEA program?

A: Yes! Currently, LoyalTEA members will have early access to sales, along with being the first to learn about new products and initiatives. Additionally, we will be rolling out incentives in the months to come, so join now to make sure you don’t miss out!

Q: Is the referral program still active? 

A: Yes, the Referral Program is still active. For every successful referral completed through our Referral Program, you’ll get a 400 point reward to your LoyalTEA Account which you can redeem for a $20 coupon at It’s still Give $20, Get $20, but as of 7/1/21, you now get your $20 in the form of 400 points instead of a code. Please note that you will need to be logged in to your LoyalTEA Account in order to use these points and exchange them for rewards and discounts.

Q: Can I still give $20, get $20 if I don't have a loyalTEA account? 

A: As of 7/1/21, you need a LoyalTEA Account in order to redeem your successful referral credit. Creating a LoyalTEA account is simple AND you’ll get access to exclusive offers, promos, and more, so if you haven't made one yet, there’s no time like the present!

Q: Will the 400 points that can be exchanged for a $20 coupon ever expire? 

A: Yes, all points earned expire 1 year after they are accrued. 

Q: Can I stack my loyalTEA savings with Art of Tea coupon codes? 

A: No, unfortunately, our communiTEA is no longer able to stack reward points with discount or promo codes.  Please know that this was not our choice as we would have loved to continue to provide this offer.  There was a mandatory platform change that we had to abide by and that option is no longer possible. Our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience or frustration caused.

Q: Is there any reason why I shouldn't make a loyalTEA account today? 

A: Nope, the sooner you join LoyalTEA rewards, the more you’ll save! Start earning points today and see for yourself!
